Refugees

In 2017, Uganda hosted more than 1 million South Sudanese refugees fleeing civil war. With an open-door refugee policy, Uganda is home to the world’s largest refugee settlement: Bidi Bidi. These are images from Bidi Bidi, Imvepi, and Palorinya settlements.

Medical clinics in Bidi Bidi are non permanent structures, compromised of stick frames and UNHCR tarp materials to form tents.
